Deserving is a juicy, sensual, and comforting exploration of human needs with a focus on emotional components. So many adults grew up in environments where physical needs (food, clothing, shelter) were usually met, but emotional needs were neglected. In a fast-paced world, many look at emotional needs as “too much”. Maybe they look at them as not being real needs at all! The truth is, that the consequences of these attitudes ripple throughout society.

When our emotional needs aren’t filled, we feel the gnawing hungry pain within us. That pain can drive us towards all sorts of desperate and addictive behavior that can impact every aspect of life.

The good news is we don’t have to live like that anymore. While we might have spent our entire lives waiting for others to see us and meet our needs, we can now choose to rise up and meet ourselves. We all deserve that level of healing and empowerment.
